CONSUMER LAW

All goods purchased from this website come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.

The goods will not be of acceptable quality if such goods:

(a) are not fit for all the purposes for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied;

(b) are not acceptable in appearance and finish;

(c) have defects;

(d) are unsafe; or

(e) are not durable.

Subject to any rights you may have under the non-excludable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we may impose fees payable by you in relation to any repair/service not covered by the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, damage due to ordinary wear and tear, misuse, accident, abuse, alteration, substitution, improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than us or our authorised repairers, theft, disappearance, loss (including lost stones) or any other type of use causing deterioration cannot be replaced or refunded.

To the extent permitted by law (including Australian Consumer Law), BROSISCUS reserves the sole right to judge whether or not an item of jewellery or accessory has been subject to ordinary wear and tear.

WEBSITE AND CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We take website and credit card security extremely seriously and always endeavour to provide a secure, safe platform from which to conduct online transactions. BROSISCUS uses Stripe, PayPal and Aftterpay as its payment platforms and we assure all your financial information is processed in a guaranteed and secure platform.

To ensure you are accessing a secure server, look for the unbroken key or closed lock symbol located either at the bottom left or top right of your browser window. If it appears, then SSL is active.

You can double-check by looking at the URL. If SSL is active, then the first characters of the URL will read https rather than just http. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and your computer.
